Sewing & Selling from ArtistryCreates Craft Art Patterns

ArtistryCreates grants a limited license to sew and sell up to 20 items from each ArtistryCreates pattern per calendar year with no licensing fees. Please use the name of this pattern in your website listing or on your tag. Please include the following with your product, on a tag and/or on a website listing: "This item was created with permission from an ArtistryCreates craft art sewing pattern. ArtistryCreates patterns are available at http://www.artistrycreates.com. Limited sewing and selling from this pattern allowed." If you wish to sell more than 20 items from this pattern per calendar year, please email cs@artistrylive.com for licensing details.

Cottage Industry Licensing for ArtistryCreates Craft Art Patterns

If you would like to sew and sell more than 20 items per year, you must purchase a Cottage Industry License for each pattern you would like to sew from. A license for each pattern costs $15 per calendar year. The pattern is not included in this price. For each additional pattern, the cost is $10. There is a contract that needs to be filled out before licensing and detailed pictures of a sample item for each pattern need to be submitted and approved.

Steps to Getting Licensed
Purchase a license for the patterns you wish to be licensed for. After purchasing, print out a copy of the licensing agreement. Fill it out completely.
Email detailed pictures of the items to cs@artistrylive.com. The pictures should show close-ups of stitching and detail application as well as pictures of the garment as a whole. When you are approved, I will email you the address to send the license to.
Once your contract has been recieved and you have been approved, you may begin creating and selling!!

Making Changes to the Patterns
Minor changes, such as adding snaps instead of hook and loop may be made to licensed patterns. Major changes are not allowed. If in doubt about the change you would like to make, please email to ask.

What happens if I don't get approved? If you don't get approved, your fee will be refunded. If you have some experience with sewing the patterns, it is unlikely that you won't be approved.
